If you are considering bringing a bow or firearm into Australia. Bow and arrows may be brought into Australia and must be declared on your incoming passenger card. Firearms and ammunition may be imported, provided all required permits are obtained in advance.
There are a couple online applications that must be completed prior to arrival:
• A Northern Territory Police International Visitors Permit
• A B709A Import Permit
• A Restricted GoodsExport Permit
Recommended minimum caliber for Buffalo is .375 H&H
Shot distances vary depending on terrain. In timbered areas or along the edge of the floodplain, shots typically range from 20 to150 meters. On the open plains, shot distances are generally 100 meters and beyond.
We also offer rifle hire, with calibers available from .375 H&H up to .416 Rigby.
Please note: If you intend to travel or sightsee in Australia before or after the hunt, we strongly recommend not bringing a firearm, as you would be required to apply for individual firearm permits for each state and territory.
