With the success of the leopard survey project in Botswana, SCIF is moving forward with replicating this model across the region.

We are currently working with the Administração Nacional das Áreas de Conservação (ANAC) in Mozambique to implement surveys in that country. Leopards are widely distributed across Mozambique but quantitative density estimates are available for only some populations in hunting concessions and protected areas.
