When:
June 25-28, 2026. Arrival for participants will be the afternoon of June 25th, 2026, with departure on the morning of June 28th, 2026.
Where:
The event will be held at the Legends Ranch located near the small town of Bitely, MI. Situated on 2,000 acres, Legends Ranch is a state of the art facility and home to world class whitetail hunting. It is a world class hunting destination.
What:
The program is a hands-on learning experience designed to engage women that are interested in hunting, organic/sustainable food or have a passion for the outdoors. This fun, exciting, and highly educational program will highlight how to properly process and prepare wild game and immerse yourself in the flavors. Legends Ranch’s world class chef and supporting staff will take you on a food journey, showcasing the diverse and delicious dishes that can be created from the bounty of the wilderness with a field to table journey. Participants will get hands on with preparation with cooking and preparing meals using a variety of methods. Prepared dishes will be served for dinners for participants in the evening.
Participants will gain additional insights into marination/seasoning techniques, creating side dishes and appetizers, selecting alcohol pairings, place setting and meal etiquette.
Other fun activities include a fishing trip where fish harvested will be turned into a delicious meal with the participants help, rafting trip down the beautiful Pere Marquette River, and touring Legends Ranch Education Center home to over 3,000 wildlife mounts from all over the world.
Who:
Space is limited to 9 pairs of women. Each pair will share lodging together in this one-of-a-kind signature program designed specifically for women. So, bring your friend, daughter, mother, or other woman companion. Come and join in the fun and leave energized and educated about cooking wild game.
Cost:
The cost is $600 per participant. This is made possible by Legends Ranch graciously donating the other 50% of the cost and additional $600, to help defray the cost for SCIF and attendees. This price includes your lodging, food, and all associated activities during your stay at Legends Ranch. Transportation to and from Legends Ranch is the responsibility of the participants.
