Tennessee Fly Fishing Experience Package

The winner will receive a full day fly fishing float trip for two guests on the Elk River near Lynchburg, Tennessee, two special edition SCIF fly rods from Walters Fly Rods, a one-night cabin stay with At River’s Edge Tennessee, fly fishing starter pack, breakfast from The Dutch Maid Bakery & Café, and a grilled shore lunch on the day of the trip.

Guests will join Captain Jared S. DeRight of Southern Pines Guide Service on their newest boat, a sixteen-foot power drifter from StealthCraft boats, for an all-inclusive, full day float on the beautiful Elk River.  The Elk is the highest yielding trout system in the state of Tennessee, producing beautiful Rainbow, Brown, and Brook Trout. Lodging will be for one night in one of At River’s Edge Tennessee’s new riverside cabins located just minutes away from Lynchburg, Tennessee, the home of Jack Daniels Distillery.  The trip will begin with guests being picked up riverside at their cabin.

Two special edition SCI fly rods from Walters Fly Rods, will be rigged and ready for use, along with fly boxes loaded with Southern Pines Guide Service’s top flies for trout fishing in the Southeastern United States.  Breakfast will take place aboard the boat with a selection of breakfast pastries from Tennessee’s oldest family-owned bakery, The Dutch Maid Bakery & Café.  The lunch will consist of a grilled shore lunch prepared as they relax streamside or continue to fish.  Shore Lunch selections range from grilled steak or salmon, with sides being baked potatoes or corn on the cob, and a side salad. Guests will also be provided with drinks and snacks for the duration of the trip.  Throughout the day guests will have their choice of fly fishing techniques ranging from Euro Nymphing, indicator, dry fly, & streamer fishing.  If guests are new to fly fishing, Captain DeRight is always ready to teach guests on the water. Southern Pines Guide Service only practices catch and release fishing, but all pictures taken will be sent to guests after the trip.  Winner is responsible for obtaining a valid Tennessee license with trout stamp.

Southern Pines Guide Service is Tennessee’s premier fly-fishing experience. Founded in 2018 with a passion to give anglers the upscale trip they deserve. With locations across Middle Tennessee, targeted species range from Brook, Brown, and Rainbow Trout to Muskellunge and various warm water species.
