African Steppingstones Foundation’s mission is to conserve wildlife resources and educate the public through hands-on conservation practices around the Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve at Lake Albert, Uganda.
Anti-poaching patrols and units are vital to their mission of protecting species from illegal hunting. SCIF supports their mission and successfully secured favorable pricing and a long-term agreement with Toyota Gibraltar Stockholdings for two new anti-poaching units. These units are employed to apprehend poachers and collect wire snares, illegal fishing nets, and more.
This partnership exemplifies how providing reliable vehicles at a reduced cost can greatly amplify the effectiveness of conservation initiatives, benefiting both the organizations involved and the wildlife they aim to protect.
