Growing up in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho, hunting was more than a tradition for Marcus Anderson. It was a way of life. It meant putting food on the table, providing for family, and developing a deep respect for the land and wildlife that sustained him.
Those early experiences shaped Marcus’s lifelong commitment to conservation and led him to support SCI Foundation’s mission. He believes effective wildlife management requires a science-based approach that balances the needs of wildlife, habitat, and people.
In this donor spotlight, Marcus shares why conservation matters to him, the values he learned through hunting, and why he believes supporting conservation today is essential to ensuring healthy wildlife populations and outdoor traditions for future generations.
Watch the video to hear Marcus’s story and learn why he chooses to invest in conservation.
