Call of Africa’s Native Visions Galleries Donates to SCI Foundation in Support of Wildlife Conservation

Call of Africa’s Native Visions Galleries has once again chosen to make a significant donation in support of SCI Foundation and its mission by generously donating to the 2021 Beretta and SCI Foundation Conservation Leadership Award Gala live auction. This donation marks an ongoing partnership between SCI Foundation, Call of Africa’s Native Visions Galleries and owner Ross Parker.

When asked why he supports SCI Foundation, Parker replied, “Hunting is a God given right, and as such, it is our responsibility to be good stewards of wildlife and the environment to ensure that it’s done ethically and sustainably. SCI Foundation shares those objectives, so I choose to support it.”

This year, Call of Africa’s Native Visions Galleries has donated “Nyati” a highly-detailed, one of a kind leadwood sculpture by renowned Zimbabwean sculptor Mopho Gonde depicting a Cape Buffalo. The 20″ x 28″ x 19″ 110 lb. hand-carved wood sculpture shows the artist’s dedication to the craft and masterful control over subject and medium and is valued at $16,998, with a similar original piece selling for nearly double at a recent event.

SCI Foundation wishes to thank Call of Africa’s Native Visions Galleries and owner Ross Parker for their continued support of this event and its wildlife conservation and outdoor education efforts.

Auction items will be available for pre-event online bidding and by live auction the night of the gala.
