To address data gaps and uncertainties in lion management, SCIF is partnering with the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department on a comprehensive statewide research project.

With more than 95% of land in Texas being privately owned, private landowners play a crucial role in supporting this project.
