Community-Based Resource Management (CBRM) Strategies:
The ALPS project represents a significant shift towards a community-focused approach in conservation, aiming to create sustainable and effective efforts by involving local communities, providing economic incentives, and fostering strategic partnerships. The program will align with Southern African Development Community (SADC) and Law Enforcement Anti-Poaching Strategy (LEAP). SADC is an inter-governmental organization headquartered in Gaborone, Botswana, that promotes regional socio-economic cooperation, integration, and political and security cooperation among 16 countries in southern Africa
