The Pathfinder Committee recently voted to make a $1000 donation towards the purchase of a track chair for hunters with special needs. Presented Friday, January 14, in Nashville, the funds will go towards the purchase of a track chair that will be owned by TWRF (Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation). This chair will be available for use at no charge by any disabled hunter hunting within the state on state property. The need came about when a hunter who was unable to walk on his own drew a coveted President’s Island permit in Memphis. From there, it took less than 100 donations to raise the $17,000 required for the chair purchase.
