Daniel Brooks

Director of Education and Humanitarian Services

Dan joined Safari Club International Foundation (SCIF) in 2015 and has over thirty years’ experience in wildlife conservation and education.  He was initially hired by SCIF as a Program Specialist for the Humanitarian Service programs.  Dan was promoted in 2016 to the Business Operations Manager to administer the International Wildlife Museum in Tucson, Arizona and continued to manage the Humanitarian Service Programs for SCIF.   He was appointed to the Director of Education for SCIF in 2017.


Dan earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona in Renewable Natural Resources, with a major in Wildlife and Fisheries Science.  He retired from New Mexico Department of Game and Fish as the Deputy Director.  His other positions with the Department of Game and Fish were Chief of Law Enforcement, Assistant Chief of Law Enforcement, Information and Education Specialist and District Wildlife Officer (game warden).
