2019 SCIF Humanitarian Pathfinder Grants Available

Humanitarian Pathfinder Grant opportunities are again available for SCI chapters during the 2019 Fiscal Year. These grants are to help support chapters working within their communities to engage disabled or terminally ill youth, adults, veterans or wounded military personnel in SCI sponsored hunting, shooting sports and other conservation related outdoor events/projects.  Funds from these grants may be used for transportation, hunting, shooting and other outdoor gear, ammunition, food and lodging or other expenses directly related to providing outdoor events/projects.

Recent changes by the SCIF Humanitarian Pathfinder Grant Committee now allows chapters to submit grant requests not to exceed more than $2,500 of the net amount contributed by a chapter after any other donations received, with grant requests not to exceeding a total of $2,500 or current maximum allowed in a single fiscal year. This grant is a 100% funded with no matching by chapters required.  Chapters need to meet compliance guidelines to receive the grant. Deadlines for applications are Oct. 1, Dec. 1, Feb. 1, and April 1 of each Fiscal Year.
