2018 Youth Pathfinder Award Winner Jena Bartenhagen Receives Unexpected Surprise

Recently,  Rapid City, Iowa, Channel 9 News, featured 2018 Youth Pathfinder Award Winner Jena Bartenhagen on the “Show You Care” segment of their nightly news.  Jena is a survivor of brain cancer and was awarded the 2018 Jackie Bartels Memorial Youth Hunt.  Unfortunately, while still waiting for her elk to be mounted, Jena moved to a group home where she would no longer have a place to hang it.  To her great surprise and delight, Brigid O’Donoghue, COB, CEO, and Founder of United Special Sportsman Alliance, who nominated Jena for the award, made arrangements to have it hung at a Scheels store near Jena.  Thanks to everyone involved for making this dream come true for Jena.
