Each year SCI Foundation (SCIF) provides a once-in-a-lifetime hunt to worthy individuals that have faced challenges in life that causes them to find new ways to live and to overcome obstacles to engage in outdoor activities. This particular hunt was a safari to New Zealand provided by Duncan Frazier of Venator Cardrona Safaris, a unique once-in-a-lifetime hunt for red stag and other trophies. At the 2017 SCI Convention, Tom Steinbauer of Nevada purchased the Pathfinder Auction Package donated by Duncan Frazier of Venator Cardrona Safaris of Wanaka, New Zealand. This hunt for trophy red stag included Tom and two lucky Pathfinders; Chip Madren of Atlanta, GA, and Robin Clark of Charlottesville, VA, were selected by SCIF as the lucky recipients. All harvested great trophy stags and have memories that will last a lifetime.
